Charlie is Professor of Gastroenterology at University of Edinburgh and a consultant gastroenterologist based at the Western General Hospital. He is a UKRI Future Leaders Fellow and the Chief Investigator of the PREdiCCt study looking to increase understanding of how environmental factors, diet, and the gut micro-organisms influence Inflammatory Bowel Disease flare and recovery.
